Tuesday
- Edith Allen Circle will not meet this month.
- Quilt and sew group meets at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Bring your project and join us.
- Disciple Bible Study meets at 6:30 p.m. at Pastor Jerry’s home.
Wednesday
- Active Listeners meets at 9:30 a.m. in Pastor Jerry’s office.
- Disciple Bible Study at 10:00 a.m. in Pastor Jerry’s office.
- Choir practice at 6:30 p.m. at the church.
A couple of other reminders about upcoming events.
- Spring cleaning days are March 28th for interior and April 4th for exterior. A sign up sheet is available in the office for both days.
- Work day at Ocean Park Camp is also March 28th. Let Gene(430-6881) know if you plan to go. There is a project in Ye Old Dining Hall and Willis had promised other projects for any skill and ability level. This is a great chance to make a difference at “our” camp and to experience the grounds before the busy camp season begins.
- Remember the “Tide Me Over” program is on going. A list of needed foods is on the table with the food bags. Anyone in need is welcome to take a bag of food (please return the cloth bag if you can). There are envelopes on the table in which you may place a monetary donation. Anything donated for the program will go directly to purchasing food for the bags.
- Ground coffee is the item of the month for Community House. Place your donation in the wagon at any time.
We have two events coming up right after Holy Week and Easter.
- The United Methodist Women are sponsoring a Spring Tea on April 18th which will be a lovely catered meal.
- The Education Committee is sponsoring a Medieval Feast the following Saturday, April 25th.
It is almost newsletter time again! Please get your articles to me by this Thursday March 19th. Email is the easiest way for me to receive your articles, but I will accept them in whatever form works for you!
Take a look at the new sign up lists on the bulletin board across from the office. You can sign up on the big list or the one on the clipboard. They will be cross-checked. Please note: No one is signed up for hosting coffee hour next Sunday. You can contact the office by email or phone if you would like to provide this service on Sunday.
